The painting takes place during the chaos of the first months of the Pandemic that struck the world in the year 2020. This oil painting is the first of a series of two works.
The artist, using his own hand as a model and hiding his face behind it, wants to represent the millions of anonymous hands that worked hard and risked their lives to save millions of ours.
This is a tribute to the heroes who, from the hospitals, helped us to get back out of our homes.

The painting shows the artist’s hands by the window of his house, looking out at the empty city of London, symbolizing the windows of all the people who stayed in their homes during the pandemic for the sole purpose of saving lives.
This is a tribute to the heroes who, from their own homes, helped to save lives.
